Directors love to cast children for film who are very natural in front of the camera and who don't appear to be acting at all.  Keeping this in mind, we have designed a film acting camp for kids that emphasize having fun in front of the camera. 

Jan Thompson Talent Agency is proud to offer their week-long workshop specializing in commercials, feature film and live performance. Actors interested in working in film and television get to showcase their abilities in a performance of a sitcom, commercials, and the premiere of an original film. Their work will be viewed by area film professionals and talent representatives from JTA. Jill Bloede will be joined by fellow teaching artist and area film actor Sidney Horton as an instructor for this class. At the end of the week, parents and friends will be invited to attend the premiere of a short film and a live sitcom performed by the campers!
